Better + Brighter: Be Trusting
Better + Brighter: week 10: Be Trusting
Jesus invites us to trade anxiety for trust. Worry shrinks our world, but faith expands it. When we remember who God is, how deeply He knows us, and how faithfully He provides, we can release control and live with peace. A better and brighter life begins when we choose trust over worry.

Week 10 - Be Trusting
Matthew 6:25–33
Worry feels normal in our world. Deadlines, finances, health, family, and the unknown future can weigh heavily on our hearts. But in Matthew 6, Jesus gives one of the most freeing commands in Scripture: do not worry.
This isn’t denial. It’s an invitation to trust.
Jesus reminds us first of who God is. Our peace is directly connected to our view of Him. When God feels distant, worry grows. But when we remember He is powerful, present, and good, anxiety begins to loosen its grip. A bigger view of God produces deeper peace.
Second, Jesus reminds us that God knows us. Before we speak a prayer, He already understands our needs. He sees the pressures we carry and the fears we hide. We are not forgotten or overlooked. We are known and loved by a Father who is fully aware of our lives.
Finally, Jesus points to God’s track record. All throughout Scripture, God provides—manna in the wilderness, water from rocks, miracles in impossible moments. Provision isn’t something God occasionally does. It’s part of who He is.
Jesus ends with a simple promise: seek first the Kingdom, and everything you truly need will follow. When we stop chasing control and start pursuing God, peace replaces panic.
If you want your life to be better and brighter, choose trust. Faith doesn’t eliminate uncertainty—but it anchors us in Someone who never fails.
