I Will: Contend For The Faith
I WIll- Week 1: I Will Contend For The Faith
Faith isn't something we quietly keep—it is something we courageously defend. In a world full of shifting opinions, twisted truth, and cultural pressure, followers of Jesus are called to stand firm. This week we'll discover what it means to contend for the faith with conviction, humility, and love while remembering that the ultimate mission is rescuing people, not winning arguments.

I Will Contend
Every generation has a choice.
Will we simply inherit faith?
Or will we fight to preserve it?
The book of Jude was written because truth was being distorted. Grace was being abused. Jesus was being reduced. Jude realized that silence wasn't an option anymore.
That same challenge exists today.
Culture constantly tells us that feelings determine truth, but Scripture reminds us that God's truth stands regardless of our feelings. Faith isn't built on emotion—it is anchored in the unchanging character of God.
Contending for the faith doesn't mean becoming argumentative or angry. It means loving people enough to speak truth with grace. It means refusing to compromise the Gospel while extending compassion to everyone who needs Jesus.
Like firefighters running into smoke-filled buildings, followers of Christ are called toward the places where hope is needed most. We don't retreat from darkness—we carry the light of Christ into it.
This week ask yourself:
What truth has God entrusted to me?
Where have I allowed culture to shape my thinking more than Scripture?
Who needs someone willing to step into the smoke for them?
Faith worth believing is faith worth defending.
