If you don’t take anything else away from your visit to our website, make sure you get this: The ROCK is all about Jesus. Not religion. Not church bureaucracy. Jesus. Our church exists to introduce people to Jesus Christ and see them grow in their relationship to Him.
The Bible says Jesus is God. He is our Savior, our Lord, and our Friend. When we were addicted to our sins and ourselves, Jesus provided the only way to know God and to secure a place for us in Heaven. He said this about Himself ...
"I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)
And 1 Peter 3:18 says this ...
For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God...

BAPTISM
Baptism is an outward symbol of an inward transformation. It is your opportunity to tell your world about your new relationship with Jesus. The water doesn’t save anybody, and it doesn’t automatically make you more spiritual. But the experience is a wonderful statement of your faith.
The Bible defines Baptism as:
* -A sign of identification (Acts 8:36-38)
* -Symbolic of death and resurrection (Romans 6:4-5)
* -Representative of a cleansing (1 Peter 3:1)
* -Important step of obedience in Scripture (Matthew 28:19-20, 1 John 2:3)
We offer baptism services throughout the year (usually at the beach or in a jacuzzi) . If you would like more information about Baptism, click HERE.
We call these “MyGroups.” MyGroups gather adults of all ages, stages of life and spiritual maturity to take part in fellowship, Bible study, prayer and accountability. They meet in homes once a week, and the subject matter is almost always based on the previous week’s Sermon. You do not have to be a member of The ROCK to enjoy a MyGroup.

VOLUNTEER STAFF
Our ministry - humanly speaking - depends heavily on our Volunteer Staff. Volunteers are our MVP's. One of the expectations of all who want to join our church is that they find a place to volunteer.
If you would like more information about our volunteer staff, please contact our Volunteer Director, Hannah Lockaby.

JOINING THE TEAM
Want to be an official member of The ROCK? You can get more information by attending our next Starting Point. Starting Point is a small group setting where a key member of our team (usually the Pastor) explains our history, vision, beliefs, and the steps necessary to become part of us. There is always time set aside for Q&A so you can ask anything you want about our ministry. Sign up HERE.
